My wife and I have been married since 1976, working together side by side for most of that time. We have 1 daughter,1 granddaughter and 3 horses. I have served on the local REALTOR Board in all leadership positions and as President in 2003. I have been called to serve on the Board of Directors several times and I'm always happy to serve. I have also served on the Board of Directors for the Florida REALTOR Association and My Florida Regional MLS. I have certifications through the National Association of REALTORS as a Certified Residential Specialist, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist and an E-Pro certification. I was named Professional of the Year in 1996 by my peers and given the Rising Star Award by my local association in 1998. I have been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lake Wales since 1978. My wife, Ruthie, and I have been among the top producing teams in our division with Century 21 since we joined the Century 21 family in 2005. In 2008, my wife and I bought a Century 21 franchise located in the north end of Lake Wales on US Highway 27, just outside Winter Haven and less than 5 miles from LegoLand Florida. Our agents are among the best in the area striving to deliver higher than expected customer service. This has been recognized by Century 21 who has awarded this office the "Quality Service Award" for the past few years.

Being raised by parents in the business world, a large portion of it in the real estate business, I have watched business and technology change throughout the years.  With this background, my career choice was simple and I set on course to earn a degree in business.  One of my elective classes required an observation of an elementary school classroom for a day.  Not thrilled about this, I showed up to the kindergarten classroom to conduct my observation.  By the end of the day I had decided to enter the world of elementary education.  However, I completed my business degree receiving my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.  I took the additional classes necessary to earn my teaching certification and spent the next 12 years teaching early elementary education.  About nine years in to my teaching career the changes in the education system became too much for me to look past.  I decided I would move forward with earning my Masters in Business Administration and transition back to the business world.  After receiving my MBA from Warner University I began taking the required real estate courses and earned my real estate license.  At the conclusion of the 2012-2013 school year I began my journey in real estate joining Full Service Property Management.  I am a licensed REALTOR and a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).  Although I miss teaching, I thoroughly enjoy property management and selling real estate.  I am thankful each day for the wonderful people that I get to work with.  From homeowners and tenants to vendors and co-workers to buyers and sellers, my days are never the same - and I love every minute.

 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and beautiful daughter.  My husband, Trey, joined me in real estate in May 2017.  We are enjoying working as a team to assist our customers.  Brianna, our daughter is an honor student at Lake Wales High School. She competes regularly with her horse, Rio.  Between property management, real estate, and horses we stay pretty busy.  If we can sneak a few days away from it all, we are always up for a road trip.  And if we can find a race to watch, that makes it even better!

 

My job at Full Service Property Management includes managing the department, procuring rental properties, homeowner-tenant relations, move-ins/move-outs, property reviews, advertising, and many other tasks.
