Being raised by parents in the business world, a large portion of it in the real estate business, I have watched business and technology change throughout the years.  With this background, my career choice was simple and I set on course to earn a degree in business.  One of my elective classes required an observation of an elementary school classroom for a day.  Not thrilled about this, I showed up to the kindergarten classroom to conduct my observation.  By the end of the day I had decided to enter the world of elementary education.  However, I completed my business degree receiving my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.  I took the additional classes necessary to earn my teaching certification and spent the next 12 years teaching early elementary education.  About nine years in to my teaching career the changes in the education system became too much for me to look past.  I decided I would move forward with earning my Masters in Business Administration and transition back to the business world.  After receiving my MBA from Warner University I began taking the required real estate courses and earned my real estate license.  At the conclusion of the 2012-2013 school year I began my journey in real estate joining Full Service Property Management.  I am now a licensed REALTOR®, Broker Associate, and a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).  Although I miss teaching, I thoroughly enjoy property management and selling real estate.  I am thankful each day for the wonderful people that I get to work with.  From homeowners and tenants to vendors and co-workers to buyers and sellers, my days are never the same - and I love every minute.

 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and beautiful daughter.  My husband, Trey, and I work together in real estate as he is also a licensed Realtor® and broker associate.  Recently, he accepted an opportunity to work with the Polk State College Foundation which is where he spends his days.  But you can still find us working together on evenings, weekends, and behind the scenes.  Brianna, our daughter, is an equestrian spending her days (and nights...and weekends) training horses, as well as teaching future equestrians.  Between property management, real estate, and horses we stay pretty busy.  If we can sneak a few days away from it all, we are always up for a road trip.  And if we can find a race to watch, that makes it even better!

 

My job at Full Service Property Management includes managing the department, procuring rental properties, homeowner-tenant relations, move-ins/move-outs, property reviews, advertising, and many other tasks.
